Built for everyday text

One clean workspace, nine useful actions.

CASE

Fix inconsistent capitalization

Convert headings, labels and sentences without retyping every word. Sentence case preserves the flow of ordinary writing; Title Case makes headings easier to scan.

LISTS

Organize copied lists

Sort lines alphabetically, reverse their order or remove exact duplicates while keeping the first occurrence. Blank lines can be removed separately.

SPACING

Repair copy-and-paste clutter

Clean spacing trims each line, replaces repeated spaces and removes trailing whitespace without changing the words themselves.

PRIVACY

Process text on this device

Transformations run in the browser. Text Tidy does not require an account and does not send the contents of the editor to an application database.

How to get a predictable result

  1. Keep one item per line before using sort, deduplicate or reverse.
  2. Choose one transformation at a time. Every action uses the current input and places a new version in the output panel.
  3. Review names and acronyms. Automatic case conversion cannot know every brand, abbreviation or language rule.
  4. Copy or download only after checking the result. Your input remains available until you clear or close the page.

Text Tidy questions

Does the site store my text?

No application account or document library is created. Processing happens with JavaScript in this browser. Your browser, extensions, network administrator or device may have their own logging behavior.

Does it work with languages other than English?

Spacing, sorting, duplicate removal, counting and line reversal work with Unicode text. Letter-case behavior depends on the rules supported by your browser and may not apply to scripts without upper and lower case.

What counts as a duplicate line?

Two lines are treated as duplicates when their trimmed text matches exactly. The first matching line is kept and later copies are removed.

Why should I review Title Case?

Short words, names, acronyms and specialist terms can follow different style guides. The converter provides a consistent starting point rather than an editorial decision.
